Surprise others with colourful delicious cookies. Just add a little food coloring to a traditional recipe, check it out!
INGREDIENTS:
- 230g butter
- 175g confectioner’s (icing) sugar
- 1 egg
- 5-3 teaspoons extract or emulsion (any flavor) <-you can skip this ingredient
- 1 teaspoon salt
- a pinch of food coloring (choose the color yourself 😊 )
- 400-425g all-purpose flour
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Cream together butter, sugar and a pinch of food coloring (we used purple powdered food coloring)
- Then add eggs and extract and mix very well
- Sift together salt and flour, add to wet mixture little by little- until well incorporated
- Wrap the dough in for example plastic wrap and place in the fridge for at least an hour to chill
- Sprinkle a bit of flour on the top of the dough and then lay a second piece of parchment on top
- Roll out the dough with normal (plane) pin between the parchment sheets for example to a 1/4 inch thick
- When using our the Funny Baker’s pin, use a bit of force and very slowly roll the pin into the dough (then you will see some wonderful patterns on the dough)
- Then you should cut out into desired shapes. Ready cookies place cut on the baking sheet- 1 inch apart
- Bake cookies at 200 Celsius for about 7-8 minutes until tops are appear dry rather than shiny (sometimes check out the cookies)
HOW TO CARE FOR THE ROLLER:
- After use, clean the roller with a water
- From time to time, impregnate the roller with oil
- Protect from sunlight
- Do not put in the dishwasher
