  • 175g confectioner’s (icing) sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 5-3 teaspoons extract or emulsion (any flavor) <-you can skip this ingredient
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • a pinch of food coloring (choose the color yourself 😊 )
  • 400-425g all-purpose flour

 INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Cream together butter, sugar and a pinch of food coloring (we used purple powdered food coloring)
  • Then add eggs and extract and mix very well
  • Sift together salt and flour, add to wet mixture little by little- until well incorporated
  • Wrap the dough in for example plastic wrap and place in the fridge for at least an hour to chill
  • Sprinkle a bit of flour on the top of the dough and then lay a second piece of parchment on top
  • Roll out the dough with normal (plane) pin between the parchment sheets for example to a 1/4 inch thick
  • When using our the Funny Baker’s pin, use a bit of force and very slowly roll the pin into the dough (then you will see some wonderful patterns on the dough)
  • Then you should cut out into desired shapes. Ready cookies place cut on the baking sheet- 1 inch apart
  • Bake cookies at 200 Celsius for about 7-8 minutes until tops are appear dry rather than shiny (sometimes check out the cookies)
